St Mary’s Catholic Primary School in Colac was in need of a new sports area to conduct their sports program.

Their back oval was often wet and soggy in the winter, and the back-up multi-purpose room wasn’t suitable for such activities. With no budget to pay for a gym, the school’s board decided to construct a sports shelter shed over two existing tennis courts.

After some research, they happened upon similar school sports shelters completed by Trusteel Fabrications. Principal Mike Mahoney jumped in the car to check out them out to discover it was exactly what they were after.

“We recently had some architectural work completed at the school and wanted the sports shelter to be fit in aesthetically with the new design,” said Mike. “Trusteel Fabrications provided a shelter shed that was both aesthetically pleasing and fit for purpose providing students shade in summer and shelter in winter.”

Trusteel delivers

Trusteel Fabrications completed the build of the shelter in 3 weeks, working closely with the Principal to ensure minimal disruption to staff, students and general school activities.
