A shed to house heritage narrow gauge locomotives and rolling stock
The brief:
Situated alongside the Menzies Creek station, the Emerald Tourist Railway Board requested we design and construct a steel clad building to be used as a museum to showcase its heritage narrow gauge locomotives.

We overcame site challenges relating to the shape of the available land and restrictions due to existing tracks by innovatively staggering the building to accommodate multiple uses.
