Founded by the Burmeister family in 1976, Trusteel Fabrications has been designing, manufacturing and building superior steel structures across Victoria for nearly 50 years. What began as a small family operation grew into one of Melbourne’s most trusted shed manufacturers — with thousands of successful projects completed and a reputation built on quality workmanship, practical expertise and honest service.

Under the leadership of Gerard and Michael Burmeister, the business earned the trust of farmers, schools, commercial operators and industrial clients across Victoria. Their hands-on approach, deep industry knowledge and commitment to doing things properly became the foundation of the Trusteel name.

In 2025, Trusteel was acquired by three families who shared a common belief: great sheds come from people who genuinely care about the outcome for their customers. Directors Anton Sekula, Damien Lacey and Michael Birch bring backgrounds in automotive engineering, operational excellence and business improvement to an already strong operation.

Today, Trusteel remains a family business built around experienced people, strong relationships and pride in workmanship. The existing team continues to be at the heart of everything we build. Andrew, Brad, Mark, Chris, Ermin and the wider crew bring decades of hands-on expertise to every project, and that continuity is something we’re proud to protect as we build on the strong foundation established by the Burmeister family over nearly five decades.
